In Cambodia 1,7 million people died during the communist Khmer Rouge from 1975 to 1979 led by Pol Pot. Khmer Rouge organization carried out brutal executions and torture. The organization for example established Security Offices, torture centers, to all over Cambodia.

The most famous of them is the Security Office (S-21) located at the downtown of capital city Phnom Penh. Former school building was turned into jail. Now the building is a genocide museum which reminds people of today’s Cambodia and tourists from the horryfying past of Cambodia.
